The V&A Chandelier
Another great find from the Victoria & Albert museum is this huge thirty foot glass chandelier hanging in the main entrance. Created by American artist Dale Chihuly in 2001, the piece reminds me of the snakes from Medusa’s head squirming around and hissing.
The glass from the beautiful (formally known as) Ice Blue and Spring Green Chandelier is hand blown and takes several days to clean by a team of technicians. This masterpiece cements the V&A’s commitment to modern design.
