Stamp that on your wall!

Famously featured on Alan Carr’s chatty man and exhibited at this years Birmingham Interiors Show, this range of Royal Mail stamp rugs are becoming the new craze.  Depicting Queen Elizabeth’s head and made in a variety of colours,  the rugs can be laid on the floor or mounted on a wall for maximum effect. They are made from 100% New Zealand wool and hand-woven in Nepal. Ranging from small to large sizes the rugs start off at £695 up to £4350.

This handy little tool has an abundance of usages it can be wall mounted, table mounted or free-standing! It’s a cool new device created by Tom Ball Hatchet and displayed in The Designers Block at this years Birmingham Interiors show. Designed for mainly businesses, museums or art gallery’s the “Bouncepad” is fun and smart, but it’s durability and flexible functions mean you can have this handy tool anywhere you like.

Tom also created a really cool cooking website with a unique twist. With over 2000 hits a day and growing, “Recipe look” holds hundreds of recipes uploaded by cooking enthusiasts in the form of drawings or pictures. The website is fantastic for those who prefer a more visual explanation of how to cook a meal. So if you fancy contributing to the virtual cooking book visit www.recipelook.co.uk.

Trendsetters of 2011 hit the Birmingham Interiors show

AFTER TRAIPSING through a maze of modern and high-end interiors at this years Birmingham Interiors Show, it all started to become like a buffet table at your Nan’s 70th. You know,  garlic bread, canapes and cheesecake repeated over and over. There wasn’t anything which was different or hooked me in, until I stumbled across The Designers Block tucked away in the corner of hall 2. Continue reading
